Straw gold color. Blend of Malvasia (45%), Rhein Riesling (40%) and Friulano (15%). Intensely floral on the nose with a hints of apricot, honey and a touch of petrol. Green apple, pear and minerals fill the pallet. Spicy and citrusy finish. Clean and rich. Intense acidity. Outstanding food wine. — 2 years ago
63/25/12 blend of Vermentino, Muscat and Malavasia Bianca, and yes, pet-nat. Still Applegate Valley AVA but no vineyard designation on this one. Pale yellow white, good foam on pour but light carbonation, bubbles disappear relatively quickly. Slight sulfite in nose, but not much else. In the mouth, creamy, slightly bubbly, lemon-lime flavor with a touch of Muscat, followed by a tangy largely lemon-lime finish. Easy to love, especially on a warm day. Fun and sure to prove popular. Not a wine to overthink, just drink... — 5 years ago
you’d never think a sangiovese / merlot / cab sav / syrah mix at this price point would have so much life to it — 4 months ago

Poured into a Boa decanter about 30min prior to service. The 2016 “Santa Chiara pours a brilliant, deep and slightly hazy copper gold color with medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with desiccated apricots, dried apples, yellow flowers, and curaçao. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannins. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is super long and super amazing. This is such a wonderful bottle of Bea. When his whites hit, well…they really hit. Drink now with a short decant or over the next 3-5 years. Ok please don’t like this yet. This needs to be fixed. Funky town for sure. I would say Parmesan cheese. Soon more….Really crazy stuff! Well Kombucha, like quite acidic and astringent, buttery, nose, Muskat - orange blossoms. So much fun but obviously you have to be crazy to ask for this and drink it - even the staff at the restaurant hesitated. — 2 years ago
Amazing color. Peach, apricot, iced tea. A little nail polish on the nose too. Got some grip. High acidity. — 4 years ago
