In honour of Frédéric Henry, owner of wineshop Mes Bourgognes in Beaune who suddenly died last Friday. Today at his funeral I decided to visit his favorite restaurant La Dilettante and ordered his favorite wine…. Pierre Overnoy. Enjoy life dear winefriends….it is moving fast. ❤️ — 10 months ago

Dry zinger, but with some salinity and fruitiness poking through. First Vin de Savoie I truly liked. — 4 years ago
Выпито 15.06.2020 с Милановичем. Очень неплохое мерсо 2016 года. Минеральное, нежное, на пике зрелости. Мое. — 5 years ago
Yummy, smooth, goes with a variety of foods. Love this! — 6 years ago
Les Murgers abuts the Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Vineyard of Champ Gain. Wow, this is a bargain! Elegant nose of ripe stone fruits, citrus and bits of vanilla and biscuit. On the palate ripe apple, peach and pear with lemon zest and some sweetness. Lingering, rich ending with an underlying mineral character. — 6 years ago
Pop and pour. Lovely, even on day 2 open, though fading a bit today. On the nose: spice, cranberry, soft stems. On the palate: good density, fantastic acidity, crushed stone, soft stems, blackberry, cranberry, soft tang and attenuated tannin on the juicy finish. Fantastic yesterday, when everything was more intense, but excellent today. — 2 years ago

Low yields in Northern Rhône 2013, but the quality of the fruit is prevalent here. Structured and well-integrated fine grained tannins at the five year mark. The nose explodes out of the glass with finesse and doused complexities. Definitive Syrah nuances of black raspberries, black plums, black olives, fresh cut violets, cracked black pepper, Indian spices, grilled and smoked meats, and stone dust. Light weight but packs a continuous release of flavors. Nose and palate changes from fruit to floral to spicy to meaty. As you move to different areas and rooms the wine changes. The more air it gets, the more meat starts hanging out. Complex indeed for a $20 bottle. Great showing. — 7 years ago
Alexandre Pagliano
These recent vintages that are too hot and too rich to our taste.
That being said the wine is done in a classical style and is truly excellent. Would be several points above in a normal year (if those exist still…) — 8 months ago
