Back on the diet.
The 2011 Jamet CR is one of the most consistent wines I’ve ever had. Over the course of about a dozen bottles, it was remained the same - pure, aromatic, drinkable and fresh. This was the first bottle I’ve had in a few months. It still has many of the qualities of earlier bottles, but there’s an intimation of maturity in the more complex aromatics and more supple tannins. — 6 years ago
1998 Sassicaia. Dinner w J&L Sh and J&L B at Cr. Had been standing this up for a few weeks. Decanted when we sat for dinner and drank abt an hour later. Great- nice fruit and richness to it. — 6 years ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.
Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, sweet strawberries, raspberries, wood, spices, earth, light vanilla, tobacco, coffee and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet strawberries, wood, vanilla, cloves, herbs, earth, tobacco, coffee, light vegetables, chocolates, peppercorn and spices.
Medium plus in length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very enjoyable Grenache from Sonoma valley. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows the tannins (60 minutes).
Tastes like a good quality Côte du Rhône red. Spicy and fruit forward.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and cured meats.
14.6% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

OC with CR, delish! Not too sweet, smooth finish — 7 years ago
Concentrated, plush, ripe Côte-Rôtie. Shows the warmth of the site in its fruit depth and softer acid profile. Oak is still strong right now, and seems to be slowly melding away into the wine. I like this almost “new age” style, its sleek and very user friendly, it does not need food in my opinion. Lacking that heady CR perfume and persistent mineral drive for me, but makes up for it in richness of fruit and richness on the palate. Macerated black raspberry and black cherry, bacon, iron, sweet oak, coffee bean, cool herbs, violet. A few hours of air and this really began to move into a more savory/garrigue expression, leathery notes, that crushed rock minerality on the finish. Finish is even more expansive and persistent. — 7 years ago
This is a great bottle! Missing CR with family — 9 years ago
Albarinyo daurat preciós , sobre líes amb aromes de fruita madura, acidesa suau i cos notable. Plè a la boca i llarg final d'avellanes i nous. CR. Tap de vidre hermètic i disseny d'ampolla molt cuidat ! — 9 years ago
Blackberry, vanilla, cherry, raspberry, licorice and oak. Good structure and moderate tannins. — 6 years ago
Great CR wine of the week 12/14/18. Smooth rich. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Holy cr-p was this a bomb or what??? Brought by @Benoit Touquette it was amazing how just the nose and mouthfeel of this wine reminded me of one of the Bond wines, although I struggled to figure out which one. Someone suggested St Eden. Wish I had 10 more of these. — 7 years ago
In terrific shape, a beautiful, earthy CR. — 7 years ago
Brilliant CR which held up so well to savory pork BBQ while still mesmerizing with its elegant northern Rhone Syrah aromatics. Thanks @Vickie Beuerle. — 8 years ago

Delicious and full of energy. Not as polished as the CR, but distinctly northern Rhone and really good. — 5 years ago
