Holy moley, what a gratifying wine. Uniquely farmy, bloody, tarpauliny, fruity nose- full blown Hermann Nitsch tableau- but follows that with a beautifully deft drink. — 8 years ago
Sour red cherries, wild strawberry, horse shit, mushrooms. Wild acidity. Years ahead of it. Fresh. Vital. — 8 years ago
Upcoming producer from the Macedon Ranges. Great Chardy. Textural! Leesy! Persistent! Yum!
Fruit from two vineyards near Kyneton. Barrel fermented. Little new oak. No racking of gross lees. Lots of battonage. — 9 years ago

Central Highlands and Ranges
Pinot Noir
Extremely young, it feels like whole bunches were used it.
Crunchy, vibrant even a little too hard.
I reckon it will smoothen down with a bit of time, but I still prefer the Doug''s vineyard. — 5 years ago
Little young, but still a beautiful wine. Has great potential. Look forward to trying in a few years time. — 8 years ago
One of Australia's best Pinot Noirs. Beautiful weight - perfumed, plush and elegant. — 8 years ago
Tasty number after some decanting. Heavy heavy. Second time having this. — 9 years ago
Holding up great, this has plenty of fruit and terrific balance of acid. Black tea and earth flavors in abundance on the medium-long finish. No hurry to drink the other two bottles in the rack. — 5 years ago
Had 2018 yesterday after meeting the maker. A very good drop! — 5 years ago

What a wine for a second label Pinot! Good concentration; red and black fruits. Sweet spice and savory herbs. — 9 years ago
Cope-WIlliams doesn't get enough heat in Australia! Up there with some of the best sparkling producers. Huge repository of wines from older vintages. Current NV is blend of wines dating all the way back to 1988 (need to verify tho). Ridiculous nose, complex, long. Yum! — 9 years ago
