Notes of pear and pear skins on nose and palate. Rich and unctuous with hints of honey. Flavours fill every corner of the mouth. Low acid. Great match with smoked cod No point in further cellaring - delicious now. Will look to drink more Condrieu in the future - love Viognier. — 7 years ago
This wine has a moderate aroma of blackberry, smoke vanilla and spices. It is flavorful, full-bodied, high in acidity and has low to medium round tannins. The predominate flavors are plum, BlackBerry, vanilla, smoke and spices. — 8 years ago
This was absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of opulence for me. Dense and rich with a beautiful supporting acidity, fine tannins, and an impressive finish (even with my sinusitis working up). Cassis, cream, tobacco leaf, spice, somewhat smoky in the palate, and a touch of pyrazine to finish. Drinking well now, but will definitely see improvement with time.
Notes: 51% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot. 2012 had low yields for Ch Palmer. — 8 years ago
Epic, but obviously tight low alcohol Cab. Opened nicely over a 2 hr period though clearly needs more time and not close to ideal drinking window. — 9 years ago

Totally funky white blend - 60% Moscato de Allasandria/40% Albanello. Deep gold color (assuming skin contact). Apricot, orange blossom and pepper spice. Becomes more floral as it opens up. Minerals and a hint of oxidation. (A bit “sherry-like.”). Ripe apple on the finish. Nice balance. Relatively low alcohol (12%). Quite interesting. — 7 years ago
Strong acidity and low alcohol. Red fruited and moderate tannic presence. Cool, refreshing and tangy. Better with food given the profile. — 8 years ago
An excellent bang for the buck! Personally, I find Californian CSs to be the best in the world. This is a low end example and it’s still great! Blackberry and dark cherry with hints of toast and spice. Not very long aftertaste though. But definitely a great every-day wine. — 8 years ago

This was smooth and delicious. Low tannins and pleasant to the palate. Enjoyed this on its own with olives and cheeses. A sinful way to spend New Years night. — 10 years ago
