Cloudy pale to mid gold in colour. A skins contact, white wine fermented in Clay Amphora in Sicily. Aromas of apricot, orange blossom and a little white pepper. On the palate a lot going on - full flavoured at only 12.0% alcohol and low acid - apricots and cumquat with the skins bitterness to finish off. Unique and an absolute mouthful of flavour. Can’t see any reason for cellaring it. — 6 years ago
Strong acidity and low alcohol. Red fruited and moderate tannic presence. Cool, refreshing and tangy. Better with food given the profile. — 7 years ago
Great Pinot for the price. — 8 years ago
Pinot Noir blend
A: clear medium red
N: moderate youthful aromas; cherry, berries, pepper?
P: dry, crisp, light, low soft tannins, simple flavors (mostly) of multiple types, good balance, short finish; berries (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry), vanilla, pepper, smoke
O: delicious light Pinot, refreshing — 9 years ago
Epic, but obviously tight low alcohol Cab. Opened nicely over a 2 hr period though clearly needs more time and not close to ideal drinking window. — 9 years ago

Basque region. Light, spritzy and low alcohol. Think bone dry strawberry-lime soda with an alkaseltzer thrown in. — 6 years ago
Fruity light, almost like a sparkling water. Low alcohol content — 7 years ago
This wine has a moderate aroma of blackberry, smoke vanilla and spices. It is flavorful, full-bodied, high in acidity and has low to medium round tannins. The predominate flavors are plum, BlackBerry, vanilla, smoke and spices. — 7 years ago
Darker fruit and some tannins. Well balanced. — 8 years ago
A scent of cocoa and stewed prunes gives way to a low tannin yet savory mouthfeel of bramble flavors. I personally wished for more tannin and liveliness, but I'll take what I can get. Paired OK with strip steak due to the low tannins. — 8 years ago
Excellent Pinot for $10 — 9 years ago
This yellow-gold wine rings the “old-style Cali” bell in all the right ways. A nose of apricots, mangoes and apples is helped along with the smell of buttered popcorn. Oak treats the palate as well, draping over the tropical fruit like a sunshade. The acidity is zesty, yet the mouthfeel tends toward creaminess due to the wine sitting on the lees for five months. The oak is a definite part of the wine, but the effect is softened enough so that it's a pleasure, not a pain. — 6 years ago
Very fresh and light bodied, low acidity. A great summer wine — 7 years ago
Very smooth, well priced Malbec.. low acid — 7 years ago
An excellent bang for the buck! Personally, I find Californian CSs to be the best in the world. This is a low end example and it’s still great! Blackberry and dark cherry with hints of toast and spice. Not very long aftertaste though. But definitely a great every-day wine. — 7 years ago
Lovely wine, has a little salinity to it in my opinion — 8 years ago
Loved this Sav Blanc. No acidity. Pear and subtle minerals -mellow-almost like a good Chardonnay. Drank it with the growers,Tom and Brenda; amongst the grapes on the hillside outside Calistoga. Just fabulous. — 9 years ago
