Is there a better wine for roast chicken than Loire cabernet franc? Rhetorical question, of course. 2011 so tight, even after two hour decant. It slowly unveils its charms, like Jo Fiennes unwinds Gwen Paltrow in the otherwise forgettable "Shakespeare in Love". Unlike that film, this has staying power. The 83 is one my favorite Lynch Bages very La Mission like showing sweet red and black fruits with cedar, leather, earth, cigar box and mineral with med weight, nice length, love the balanced complex aromas. Really enjoyed this as it was quickly drained! — 11 years ago
