A fantastic right bank blend of Cab Franc and Merlot! — 6 years ago
Really rich and tannic, plus a hint of grape hard candy. — 6 years ago
The final bottle of the case. This wine is now darker and smokier on the nose with less of the blue fruit and more of the stewed black fruits. The palate still has wonderful acidity but is far less lush. Flavors of wet earth mingle with darker stewed plum and blackberries and lead to a bit of a shorter finish that shows a touch more puckering acidity. — 6 years ago
The 2015, the other half of the night's comparison. Less subtle, more floral. Jasmine, rose petal, honey. All powerful, but all a bit separate and distinct. I think this could lie down for a good while. Will be pleased to try another bottle in a few years. — 7 years ago
Great value full of rich flavor - nice finish — 7 years ago
Brambly red berry fruits. High acid and untamed, a wild expression of #pinotnoir #nzwine — 7 years ago

Great white with tapas!!! Or without! — 6 years ago
Subtly spicy. Warm and welcoming. Still haven’t met an Argentinian Malbec I didn’t like. — 6 years ago
A little too much vanilla for me, but it was beautifully balanced by the acidity. Very delicious wine. — 6 years ago
Low alcohol content and decent tannins make this wine easy drinking. And not bad for a prelude to something more serious down the road. — 7 years ago

This defines “big red” - fruit forward plum and cherry, bold, rounded, and plush, with subsequent notes of earth and wood. I LOVED IT. And what a value ($20 CAD) — 4 years ago
