Just lots of pet-nat joy with a remarkably high level of quality given the gamble inherent in this lo-fi winemaking style. — 10 years ago
Piercing stone fruit, clean and pleasant tartness. — 11 years ago
Very earthy right out of the bottle, devolved into much more lush fruit with time. — 11 years ago
$17 a bottle? Are you kidding me?! This is the first bottle in a while I wish I'd bought all that was on the shelf. So delicious, unique, fresh. Gulpable goodness. Reminds me of good carbonic natty Beaujolais. A+++++ score corresponds to value highly in this case. — 10 years ago
Loved this wine! Light body, bright fruit and acid with savory/herbal notes to make it complex and satisfying. — 11 years ago
Oh Lordy the stems, bright and lifted, perfect with puttanesca tonight — 11 years ago
Lo-fi white Rhone. Flowers and good bitters. — 12 years ago
Good Grenache. Has the acid and grip Grenache needs imo! — 8 years ago
Old world styled nose, new world palate...half way between the two on structure. Raspberries, pomegranates, bell pepper, sweet pipe tobacco, peppercorns...it all settles down so nicely and becomes an easy drinking Santa B Cab Franc. — 10 years ago
Acidic nose with earthy tones, bright bold taste with some dryness afterward. Flavor moves forward across tongue. Great for cutting through richness of meats! — 10 years ago

Amargo Obrero, "the workers' aperitif." Traces of #Argentina's Italian immigrant history, bars all serve aperitifs/amar(g)os, both local, like this, and imports (Fernet on tap). @ 'speakeasy' La Puerta Rojo, served 60/40 w pomelo, grapefruit, on ice. ¡Lo refrescante! — 12 years ago
