Orange rind, lanolin, lemon curd. — 10 months ago
Day 2 notes. Nose of blueberry and blackberry, granite and graphite. Dark and rich but super mineral as well. Palate is energetic and fresh but also dark and rich with blackberry and blueberry galore. Young and disjointed as it was yesterday but it’s all there. Check back in 5 years — 2 years ago
Turn key delicious. You can think on it too though. — 4 years ago
Orange, elderflower, green apple, saline, minerality. Extremely chuggable young summer wine. — 5 years ago
Moussé is known for its Pinot Meunier yet this is 100% Chardonnay from a vineyard that was not well suited for Meunier due to the particularly deep soil. I found this to be a delight with lemon-lime citrus of tremendous precision. Minerals like it was San Pellegrino and a long finish. More chiseled than rich. So refreshing. @Delectable Wine Why is there so much shouting on this label? I mean it's great, but I prefer understated 😉. — 2 years ago

You and Liz both loved it. Floral, acid, some sweetness. Had with Gujarati beans. — 6 years ago
Needs time to open. It is too stiff and oaky in the beginning but softens with time. Another bottle of wine that would complement food like veal chop or something — 8 years ago
Nose: some funk. Blows off. White flowers.
Palate: sweet fruit. Mineral. Good. Well made. Not too wooly.

A little linear but pretty and lifted nose of small berries, orchard apple, lemon rind. Beautiful effervescence and acidity. A little better at the end perhaps a sign of warm vintage but good effort regardless. — 4 years ago
From the always lovely lieu-dit Meix Chavaux. There is a ripe opulence that is seamlessly balanced by signature Roulot kinetic energy and drive. Ripe orchard fruit, lemon verbena, flinty minerals, saline and matchstick reduction that blows off with a sufficient decant. There is great cut and delineation even in the ripe vintage. But we should expect nothing less from the great Jean Marc Roulot. Finishes long and intense strutting its mineral backbone and impressive focus. — 5 years ago
Shimmering magenta. Expressive red/blue fruit and licorice aromas show excellent clarity and pick up mineral and exotic spice flourishes as the wine opens up. Broad and fleshy on entry, offers concentrated boysenberry, bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors that tighten up and become sweeter with air. The blue floral note carries strongly through an impressively long, focused finish that's shaped by smooth, harmonious tannins. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, October 2019) — 6 years ago
