Simply superb. Wet stones, sea shells, lemon, white fruit. The wine is fresh and refined, great tension with superb pure fruit and precise flavors and a long finish, so classy and elegant. We had 4 great 2014 whites in the last few days and this is the best one (2-Germain Poruzots, 3- Raveneau Foret, 4- Ramonet Vergers)
93-94 — 5 years ago

Lovely and complex white burg Montrachet for a Saturday lunchtime charcuterie plate. Soaring acidity with stone fruits that’s balanced by the fattiness I love in a good white burg. The bouquet has some ethereal qualities that make it so fun to just nose for quite some time - stone fruits like apricot and peach. Long finish. No complaints here — 6 years ago

Clos Saint Marc is a 4.2 acre walled vineyard on a hillside within the 1er Cru Les Vergers on the north border of the appellation overlooking St Aubin and Le Montrachet directly to the north. Olivier Leflaive’s 2010 is stunning. This bottle might even be better than the one I had on Christmas Eve last year. Lime peel, orange blossom, spiced apple, melon rind, oyster shell, and crushed white rock with racy acidity. What a wonderfully delectable pairing with garlic lemon butter scallops. — 8 years ago
Vergers. Excellent. — 4 years ago
A light, smooth rose’ that went exceptionally well with crab legs and shrimp. Makes a refreshing Summer libation as well. It seems my favorite rose’s come out of the Cotes de Provence. — 5 years ago

Divine wine by Marc Morey. Drank the same Les Vergers Prem Cru wine 8 years ago and it made an impact on me then. Nothing has changed since. — 3 years ago
