Really impressive! Intensity. Density. Length. Yum. — 11 years ago
Bright crunchy fruits right out of the gates. Terrific tension and acidity. Excellent wine and blew away (and felt stylistically different) than a ‘14 we tried alongside it. — 6 years ago
Can’t get stop going after ‘15 Burgundy. Here, from one of region’s elite and from the fabulous Combe aux Moines vineyard, deeply flavored and beautifully perfumed, ripe black cherries, red raspberry, exotic spices and damp earth. The texture is luxurious and supple and the finish is long and seductive. 🔥 — 7 years ago
Sweet, smooth ripe fruits, would prefer to a cab. — 9 years ago
just a really enjoyable bottle of wine... hints of spice but not over powering — 11 years ago

Total funk/garrigue on the nose, ripe strawberries, fennel seed, sweet cassis. Full bodied (for burg), screaming acidity, gorgeous mineral finish. — 13 years ago

My favorite 'champagne', this is what I drink for New Years Eve. Delicious without accompanying food, this bottle was meant to be dessert all on it's own. — 10 years ago
Layers of love. Raspberry, dark cherry, currant, mild notes of clove and leather. Nuances of strawberry, continue through the palate and the finish is silky and lengthly. — 13 years ago

Wow, what a beauty. Decanted for 2 hours, intensely aromatic, precise and energetic showing black raspberries, candied red cherries, flowers, hints of orange peel and packed with minerals. Finishes with exceptional length. The tannins are present and firm but the wine’s superb balance along with the combination of Fourrier’s style and the ripe vintage make it in a wonderful place now and with a certainty to improve with age. — 6 years ago
