Great lazy summer day drinking kind of wine. It is refreshing, the flavour isn't too bold, not to sweet and goes down smooth. Cute name too and beautiful blush colour. — 8 years ago
Big n tasty. A bit spicy. — 8 years ago
100% Syrah - Red Willow Vineyard - juicy tannins, lots of dark fruit, coats the mouth, peppery on the back with a contemplative finish. Will buy again. — 10 years ago
My palate was perfectly primed for this experience...finally! The lady of Gramenon has slapped me in the face with her mineral wand many a time and I have loved it, but this was what I was always looking for. Had all the good characteristics of a very well aged soft warm voluptuous Chateauneuf with a SICK mineral streak for support and depth. That mineral streak has always fucked me up in the past, overpowering my mouth and blocking me from orgasm with this wine. This time we both win. — 10 years ago
5 hour decant. I’ve had a very tough time getting along with ‘09 Napa Cabs, finding most to be quite tannic, dumb and lacking any kind of expression. This Dr. Crane suffered from none of that. From the perfumed nose of Asian spice and significant depth and purity of fruit to the black cherry, chocolate covered expresso beans and red cedar taste profile, this is very ready now but it’s still clearly on the rise....and yes that is a Halloween 🎃 decoration on my fat lady sculpture — 8 years ago
The wine of raspberries and herbs, rosemary perhaps. You'd imagine a v pretty lady if you have it. — 8 years ago
Sultry: like a beautiful lady in a red dress smoking a cigarette in the dark corner of a speakeasy. — 9 years ago
Nutty and warm bread notes on first wiff, baked apple and pear follow nicely. Rich round mouthfeel gives a touch of lively medium acidity and ties the mirroring nose and palate together with a warm vanilla finish that lingers seductively like perfume in a room moments after a lady departs. ( probably my cheesiest description yet! 😜) — 10 years ago
Unforgettable taste. Like a young naughty young lady. It offers a refreshing black berry and green citrus? Notes. It's as distinctive as if its just picked and washed. U tasted the freshness and the earthy sun. It's spontaneous energy as if it fits rightly in the hand of a young lady spending the afternoon by herself either reading the book or just hanging around in the library in a breezy summer afternoon. — 12 years ago
Super creamy, and mouthfilling notes of lady apple, citrus fruits, white flowers and star fruits — 8 years ago

Strawberry jam essence followed by a hint of dustiness on the nose. The open is soft with some light tannins. — 8 years ago
Light, earthy.. Best greek wine I've tasted — 10 years ago
An elegant, feminine style, lovely smoky pencil lead and cassis jam, touches of tobacco leaf and root beer. Elegant and mineral, med+ weight, plenty of smoky dark fruit and lead, reasonable acidity and very supple, refined tannin. Easygoing on the finish, a classy lady for the medium term. — 10 years ago
2006 vintage - from an Australian perspective, hard to come to grips with the concept of aged SB, but here it is. This is good, actually really good - very Loire IMO — 10 years ago
