Sufficiently mature so as not make enemies with any palate (or bffs). Drink it if you got it now. Not much fruit left in the tank. What's left is dark. Deep purple in the glass. Mellow and soft now. Finish on the short side. Still, an enjoyable find. — 9 years ago
2007 vintage. Vieilles Vignes. Medium brick garnet hue. Herbal, white flower, white pepper, earthy and forest floor. Very attractive nose. On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. Ready to drink now as I think the fruit is starting to dry out. — 11 years ago

From even north of Lessona. Cherry, raspberry, blackberry and fresh plum. White pepper, red liquorice, Dried fennel, almond paste and orange rind. Fine, gentle emery board like tannins with perky acidity. Really approachable now. 65% neb, 20% croatina and 15% vespolina. — 9 years ago
Fantastic Bordeaux! Best with Italian wine salami (salami blanco) and similar meat. — 10 years ago
Very tannic just after opening but a short decant helped a lot to get this guy going. Nice pairing with Parmigiana alla Melanzane. — 11 years ago
Just at the beginning of its drinking window, but still enjoyable with some air. — 11 years ago
