👃 Hints of dark fruits, licorice, leather. Fragrance is very much withheld.
👅 Hints of black fruits, stewed prune, earth, tobacco, tar. Spicy and bitter on the back palate and such a brief finish that it left me wondering if I swallowed before I tasted.

2007 vintage. Vieilles Vignes. Medium brick garnet hue. Herbal, white flower, white pepper, earthy and forest floor. Very attractive nose. On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. Ready to drink now as I think the fruit is starting to dry out.
