I'm giving this a 9.0 because it's 13 years old and it was literally the first wine I bought for the purpose of aging when I was a young buck. But also, it's good. After 6 hours decanting, it's smooth, it's fruity, and it has early signs of conversion. I like it a lot with this homemade pizza.

If you age a bottle from a region that consistently makes good wine; Bordeaux, Tuscany, Burgundy, Veneto, is etc. you will have a fantastic wine.

Sufficiently mature so as not make enemies with any palate (or bffs). Drink it if you got it now. Not much fruit left in the tank. What's left is dark. Deep purple in the glass. Mellow and soft now. Finish on the short side. Still, an enjoyable find.
