Awesome wine. As usual, If you think you don’t like a category or variety, just go spend $80/bottle then come back and talk to me. This wine shows what Friulano can be. Polished, mildly enriched by oak barrels, very complex fruit, minerals and Unami and super stylish texture...Like the first time you saw a car designed by Karmen Ghia — 5 years ago
Heady notes of muddled red raspberry, salami and meadow grass. Significant tannins and vanilla edge. Warm finish. — 6 years ago

Super light and fresh. Good dryer finish. — 7 years ago
This wine is such a pleasant surprise still so young but very well balanced with a long life ahead. Only Manferrari can make a wine like this in Friuli. — 7 years ago
Daniel loved this obscure grape white. must keep an eye out — 4 years ago
The yellow-tinted wine smells floral and tropical, with white flowers, apricot and mango coming through on the nose. There is also a bit of citrus minerality, like a sidewalk after a rain. The palate shows the stone fruit and tropical aspect, with a hefty slice of acidity to go along with it. So fresh and racy is it that one can feel free to pair this Pinot Grigio with seafood rather than restrict it to salads. — 4 years ago
Explosion of flavor, dark, spicy - get balanced. — 5 years ago

Nice, but a little less dry, peppery than we prefer — 4 years ago
This dark wine has a fruity nose of blackberry and plum, but there are some more savory notes as well. Black pepper, cigar box and black olive also come through. On the palate, licorice and plums are in the forefront of one of the fruitier flavor profiles I have tasted in Apulian Primitivos. The 16% alcohol is not as overpowering as I imagined it would be. The tannins are fairly forceful and the acidity is refreshing. This wine drinks really well and will pair nicely with a marbled rib eye steak. — 4 years ago
Drank with Lynda and Ryan in the park! Orange wine, not too funky, stone fruit and smooth — 5 years ago
Very smooth, one of the smoothest we have tasted. Glass tasted at aan de Poel, Amsterdam with beef, cépe and celeriac — 6 years ago
Bright and full of minerals. It would round out if aged a bit — 7 years ago
