Dark garnet (almost black) color. Deep aromas and flavors of black fruits with a distinct “green” note. Additional hints of freshly turned soil, baking spices and minerals. Smokey finish. Quite concentrated with abundant (but not overwhelming) tannins. Needs more bottle age but quite a nice foundation. Excellent QPR! — 3 years ago

I loge this wine and been many years since I’ve had the 2014. Bright nose of black berry, black cherry, cocoa, bittersweet dark chocolate, game, flowers, feral aromas, huge limestone footprint, floral and so so lifted. Just a crazy aroma. Wow. Palate has freshness and energy for days while showing berry fruit, huge minerals, some sweet fruit, a hint of oak, and insane length. Needs air but man is this an epic Jaspis Syrah. So textured. Big tannins and acid but man what a finish and structure. Fantastic wine. — 5 years ago

Base 2018, golden hued, expected from the disgorgement being 2021. Fabulous and rich nose and ripe white orchard fruits and melon, this is Pinot Blanc after all. This wine needs a few years to get to this spot, but patience is rewarded. A full medium+ body, long, persistent, and deep finish. — 2 months ago
