Can't decide if this wine is complex or confusing. Lovely nose opens up to strong hints of olive and pencil shavings. Nice fruit and earthiness hits the palate, but it seems like a cab sometimes, other sips resemble a bold chateauneuf, and other times like a great Bandol. Nose of plums, forest floor with fresh fallen flower petals. Taste is of plums, black tea, Forest, raspberry, mushroom. I really like this. Opened up after an hour of pulling cork and really excellent after 2+. — 7 years ago

Nose of baked almond pastry and yeast, with some light caramel notes. Palate of almonds, green apple, brioche. Delicate mousse, medium finish.
