Nose of lemon meringue, coconut, and seashells. Very pretty.
Lean and focused on the palate. Lots of citrusy acidity layered with some of the richer tropical notes and minerality. Good length.
Great aperitif for these hotter months and a good value. More please! — 5 years ago

Tasting at Copain. Beautiful winery with some sweeping views of Sonoma. Again no bottles so just the menu. The Laurel grades was an amazing wine, parcel of land by the ocean. It had that salt/mineral undertone and was crisp. Tidal wave was also very good and similar to a savignon blanc. The high rock Syrah was very good they let’s us try an 09 to give an idea of how it evolves. Solid wine. The 2014 was too tannic to get a good feel for the wine. — 7 years ago

Excellent Riesling (dry) — 3 years ago
Saline, mineral, and plenty of length. Still tightly coiled at this stage. Restrained nose. Kuentz-Bas does fermentation and aging in stainless steel for their grand crus. Really comes through in the wine. It’s like the Louis Michel of Alsace. — 4 years ago
Excepcional ! Obert fa 22 setmanes i encara aguanta sabor i matisos amb menys alcohol. — 7 years ago
My rating is for the 25 year bottling. An interesting copper color. Powerful nose of oak, caramel, and custard. On the palate caramel, vanilla, oak, spice and custard with a hint of lemon and bread dough. The finish is long acid, more caramel and oak. Fabulous and dangerously smooth. — 7 years ago
What a delicious Bas-Armagnac. Rich with vanilla and caramel notes all in abundance. But what makes this such a delightful spirit is its intensity, smoothness and the finish that lasts several minutes. Twenty five years aged, and some, this Bas-Armagnac was a little treasure that I picked up at a store that was, sadly, closing. I'm glad I did. — 7 years ago
End of the bottle, but still good. — 4 years ago
Pear, apple, white flowers, petrichor...fruit forward with well balanced acidity...notes of citrus and minerality come through towards the finish. — 5 years ago
Lemon curd and baked apples. The acid is keeping this surprisingly youthful for 8yrs old. I nice little chard for creamy dishes. — 7 years ago
Woo hoo! Excellent 12 year old Armagnac. — 8 years ago
