On the sweeter side, but still enjoyable. — 8 years ago
#smokey #meaty #floral #pinot that's right all of that with luscious soft tannins and great length. The perfect wine for smoked meats or pastrami or a smoked salmon. Really good #sbcwine #santaritahills #santabarbara #santabarbarapinot — 9 years ago

Nice pair with steaks on a Tuesday night while @Philip Carpenter was waxing poetic on the virtues or Santa Barbara County during a Twitter wine chat. Join in to #WineStudio next Tuesday at 6pm PST to connect with Dan Kessler of Kessler-Haak and with Mr Tercero himself, Larry Schaffer, at the same time on Feb 23rd. — 8 years ago
I love Drake's wines. This one strays a little bit in a great way with more fruit and body to balance the awesome acid. So aromatic. — 9 years ago
2004 Dirler Cade Riesling, vendange tardive. Strong oily nose; apricot and honeysuckle merge on palate. Mmmm. — 9 years ago

Nice and dry. — 10 years ago
Beautiful nose and heavily perfumed. Yes, slightly sweet but also shows nice acidity on the tongue. At the Alsace restaurant also a great value for a Grand Cru with some bottle age. — 10 years ago
Zink restaurant at the Doubletree in Denver. Excellent with the Delmonico steak. — 11 years ago
Hory Cow! Deliciously ripe fruit forward. Light with a smooth finish. Hands down the best 2013 I've had Not counting @Kokomo. Again, @K&L hook up! — 8 years ago
Definitely not trocken but semi sweet. My wife loves it. Pretty good Riesling. — 9 years ago
When I tasted the new vintage, I told Dan his winemaking skills have gone to a higher plain. 100% estate fruit. Dan has constructed a pure, beautiful expression of what the Sta. Rita Hills is all about. Touch of earth, mushroom, chalky earth, strawberry. 100% consistency, with a touch of cedar, smoke. Such a beautiful combination of site and winemaking. — 9 years ago
