Surprisingly energetic and sharp for a Pfalz Riesling with steely, spicy lemons and a whiff of peach in the background. Great juiciness & purity, this has the drinkability if a clear mountain spring. Brilliant for sipping solo, but will hold its ground with light food. A cracker entry level wine & brilliant value! — 5 years ago
Hint of petrol and beach ball, touch of sweetness. Terrific balance. — 8 years ago
Dinner 11/29/17 with turkey pie and other dishes. Had to open two bottles! Popular with the kids! Again perfect example of old Riesling aged at the vineyard cellar all these years. Must be that freshness from the living molds! — 6 years ago
1997- really delicious and holding up well. Touch sweet and with plenty of acidity. — 6 years ago
Hot damn I love aged Riesling. This one might have been a year or so past it’s tip top best but my friend who knows nada about wine tasted it and said “whoa this is a whole meal” which is to say it is wildly apple, honeysuckle, arugula and...feta cheese? So much feta we even got some out of the fridge to taste test. Loved this. Wish I had more. Love Riesling. Get in. — 7 years ago
It’s only shy of 10 because I do want it to be a tad more sharp. However, what a great find and alternative to Riesling. It skews on a honeydew sweetness note. Perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day. — 5 years ago
WOW I love this. Slight juiciness of yellow/green apples with skin on, dry but not taxing tannin. Exactly as expected. Little pop in mouth like pop rocks. — 5 years ago

Bit tangy at first sip, but smooth with slight citrus, raisins after taste. Fresh, light and pleasing
