Pepik is the 2nd label of Josef Chromy from the East coast of Tasmania. Red fruits on nose and palate with a little white pepper. A good match with the superb seafood curry. — 4 years ago

Very slight fizz, pale straw colour. An attractive mix of pear, quince and something a little more exotic, like pineapple. Mid-acidity and sweetness with shortish length as all in balance. 2009 vintage. Pale gold. Smells intensely like, well, Riesling. Very mineral, combined with flowers and honey. Cristal-clear crispy fruit, the residual Auslese-like sugar beautifully balanced with mouth-watering bright acidity. The intensity and length of these wines is amazing with such low alcohol (abv. 7,5%). Still very young as these wines can age forever. Another great effort from this top producer. — 5 years ago
