Rüdesheimer Klosterlay Kabinett Riesling

Solid stone fruit and honeysuckle and tiptoeing towards the edge of being all about the fruit until the mid-palate shows up just in time with acid to the recuse. Not incredibly crisp, more soft that clean, a well rounded wine nonetheless.

What a great Kabinett! Solid acidity! Delicious expression.

Very serviceable with sushi! My Whole Foods comes through on occasion. Kept well in the fridge for 2+ days.

Well balanced, slightly off dry, and very enjoyable.

Seductive aromas of peach, guava and sweet herbs. Delicate tropical fruits and saline minerality brighten the palate. With its subtle complexity and spicy finish, this is one of the finest off-dry Kabinetts of the vintage. (JP)

Herbal and floral Spatlese Riesling. Pronounced with some apple and stone fruit flavour. Balanced high acidity with medium (+) length. A style I like very much. #wsetschool

Moderately dry, structured acidity. Moderately sweet.

Light, but with good mouth feel and a nice hint of pear.
