2005 vintage. Tasted after being open for approx two hours. Emperor's semi-new clothes. I get that people dig this fruit bomb style but the lack of tannins/acidity leave it rather one-dimensional. The single dimension is really nice, yet not enuff to overcome needed Napa Cab balance. Ditching structure and attempting to reinvent the wheel has obviously pulled plenty of people into this producer's orbit. To each their own-orbit. 12.27.24. — 7 months ago

Very likely the finest Willamette chardonnay we have had. Stands up to any premium chardonnay out there. — 8 months ago

A really good red blend. Rich, fruity Cabernet forward wine with a great finish. — 4 years ago
Blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec, aged in 40% new French oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedar and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and currants with notes of herbs, pepper spice, hints of vanilla and earthy notes. Fine sweet tannins, long finish ending with cacao, smoky oak, fruit and mineral tang. Very nice, aging well, but time will reward! — 5 months ago
Apple, lemon curd, grapefruit, tangerine and melon. Racy acidity and great minerality. — 7 months ago
Silky smooth, soft fruits. Hint of leather, cherries - maybe strawberries. Beautiful. — 8 months ago
Great nose. Complex from beginning to end. Fabulous! Enjoyed in the cave tasting room at Jarvis Estates. — 9 months ago
Bright ruby red color. Bountiful aromas of red berries and dried violets. Pallet is full of strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of black tea, baking spices, earth and pepper spice. Just a bit of a “gamey” quality as well. Nice hint of oak on the clean finish. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Creamy texture. Rich and nicely rounded. Absolutely a “California-Style” Pinot Noir. Nice choice, Mark Smith. — 3 years ago
