16,5/20 — 9 years ago
A wine made for difficult to pair dishes from Yotam Ottolenghi's Jerusalem. Bright, tropical favors of lychee and melon from Riesling, Gris and Gerwurtz, held together by a sturdy Pinot blanc foundation. Really enjoying everything I've had from @Brooks Winery. — 10 years ago
drinking this with dinner. herbal beet salad, lamb meatballs with figs, and cauliflower hazelnut salad. all from Ottolenghi's "Plenty More" and "Jerusalem" cookbooks. all awesome. this wine holds up to all the fats and flavors and spices. — 10 years ago
I don't usually love Merlots but this was nice, smooth and dry. Picked it up at the winery in the Judean Hills outside of Jerusalem. — 11 years ago

Great wine from a small Israeli winery — 12 years ago
Very nice Israeli wine from Jerusalem mountain range. Needs more years to develope. Perfect for the Rosh Ha Shana meal! 2014 — 8 years ago
Dark red heading in the direction of turning brick, with a blackish dense center. Lots of wood on the nose at first, but recedes after opening up to blackberries, black licorice, mocha, mint and vanilla. Medium to full bodied, lush and smooth in mouthfeel, with soft tannin and low acidity. Flavors of red currant, cranberry and red licorice. Then there's mocha, mint and vanilla again. It finishes so smoothly and elegantly, with cranberry and cedar. — 8 years ago
Worked extremely well with the best burger in Toronto and hanger steak with roasted Brussels sprouts, cippolini onions, and Jerusalem artichokes.
Ruby red in colour. Pepper, black cherry, tannic. The fruit faded as the wine opened in the glass, but still supported the food. — 9 years ago
Love this crisp, saline white, rocked with Jerusalem artichoke and seared tuna filet. Best value assyrtiko I've seen — 10 years ago
1995- starts mellow and a bit underwhelming, but opens up beautifully. Elegant, silky tannins, leather, tobacco and bell pepper with hint of Cocoa beans. Paired with roast chicken, Jerusalem artichokes and lemon. — 11 years ago

A great Cabernet and Shiraz blend by Psagot winery. — 9 years ago
Delectable archivists, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Jerusalem Hills and Syrah from Galilee.
Goes well with Beijing style dumplings and spikes up the heat when paired with condiments of chili oil, dried pepper flakes, chopped fresh garlic, chopped cilantro, and black vinegar. — 10 years ago
