Classic and complex. Pure beauty! — 5 years ago
Sexy fucking wine. Sexy is overused but I’d get in a hastily planned 3 month relationship with this wine that would end in bitter heartbreak. Gorgeous nose. Flowers, big cherries, lipstick vibe. Palate is ripe and opulent with lovely sucrosity and wonderful freshness. Silky tannins and great mouthfeel. Very 15 but also very alluring. Long finish. Wonderful mineral drive and very complex. Great today. — 6 years ago

Perfect wine recommendation at Clown Bar in Paris — 8 years ago
Nose is cherry flower. A hint of skunkiness but not a lot.
Palate really has not a huge amount of fruit. A tad vegetal. A tad hot. Still some juiciness. Some soft rather lovely cherry. Some good deliciousness.
Fruit is a bit soft. Otherwise I’d like it more.
I’m enjoying drinking this even if it isn’t perfect. I’m not either.
As this opens the nose gets cherry lipstick. Lovely. — 4 years ago
Light bodied pinot. Great to slap down with burgers or steak but still delicate enough to sip on during aperitivo. — 5 years ago

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor David Newman is leading a live-to-picture performance of Leonard Bernstein’s score for “West Side Story”, originally directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, and with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
For live-to-picture productions, the orchestra performs the entire movie score in real time as the film unspools. (Vocals, dialogue and effects are isolated from the original music track.) The BSO installed very fancy and large LED screens on the perimeter of the Shed facing the Lawn, amazing!
Very nice light Salmon color. Nice fruit, 50% Cinsault & 50% Grenache. Very tasty, much better than their still rosé. — 7 years ago
Jerome Prevost Champagne is hard to find in Australia but his Rose is a rare beast indeed. None available this year for example. The year of harvest is found in the fine print beginning "LC". Colour is Salmon pink with a tinge of Bronze. Has the finest bead I have ever seen. Notes of strawberries, pepper and minerals. A fine wine in every sense of the word - an exercise in perfectly executed restraint. 100% Pinot Meunière. Most importantly my wife loved it on her Birthday !! — 8 years ago

Very nice cheap white, fantastic with seafood — 5 years ago
Very yeasty on the nose with Granny Smith Apple notes and pronounced minerality. 94% Pinot Meunière 2% Pinot Gris, 2% Chardonnay, and 2% Pinot Noir. Wild fermented and aged 10 months in barrels; 2.5grams/Litre dosage. Only 13,000 bottles made so it is difficult to source in Australia. Consumed this Champagne in Zalto Burgundy glasses like I had been advised to do with Jacques Selosse, a close colleague of Jerome Prevost. As both of these producers say these are wines first and Champagnes second so why not Burgundy glasses. Finishes very dry with cleansing acid. LC14 - year of harvest. Good and different. — 6 years ago

Nice wine at its prime drinking window (for my personal taste for aged wines). Nose of autumnal forest floor and earth, minerals and crushed mature berries with lively mouth feel and texture, perhaps just a bit one dimensional in a fading finish but an excellent GL 24 value back then especially given the current $ in the 50s. — 4 years ago
