I can't believe I'm drinking a 31 year old gigondas. And the tanned are so soft, they might be guacanos. Delicious fruit. — 10 years ago

v11. Very nice. Soft cedar and tobacco nose. Deep, black cherry fruit. Round, rich, mocha and mushroom finish. Enjoyed! — 4 years ago
Aged to perfection! Little bit of funk, little bit of pepper, lot a bit of deliciousness! — 8 years ago
Very elegant and restrained. Floral and anise aromas, surprisingly delicate finish. Wonderful balance, opened up very quickly after decanting — 9 years ago
The rating is more for this cool horizontal of 2010 Jack Creek Cellars from Paso Robles (regular, reserve, and Stained, the latter being aged in concrete). Out of the gate, the regular was good, but within 10 minutes the reserve started to take over with fantastic depth. The Stained was still the star in terms of sheer elegance. A really cool tasting from J&V Cellars! — 10 years ago

At Pino who insists I pick one to open, aside from his Amarone. This one has aged well with dark fruit and fading forest leaves and earth in the core. — 7 months ago
