Classic wine from a classic producer. Another stellar vintage of this outstanding wine! Dark ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Starts out a bit tight but opens beautifully. Aromas of black cherry/plum with hints of dried rose petals, rosemary, chai spices and garrigue. Palate shows more cooked black cherries and plums with notes of bay leaves and baker’s chocolate. Touches of dried earth, minerals and smoke on the long and luxurious finish. Full bodied and noticeable tannins that will continue to soften with time. Beautifully balanced. Stellar! Nice selection, Keith S! Revisited in April 2024. Fabulous! — 6 months ago
Best fiano so far. Grazie Peppe! — 8 months ago
Deep garnet. Hawthorn, tart cherry, rose and tar, asphalt, forest floor, dried herbs, sanguine, oregano, thyme, fennel, rosemary. Well integrated acidity and tannins. Full body (14.5%). Great value 😍 called it Barolo La Morra (ignoring the dark color) #facepalm — 8 months ago
It's austere, but that's why you bought a taurasi. Dried flowers, boysenberries, raspberries. Almost like an amarone. Well made; I think average score a tad low. Better than the 2016. — a year ago
The best white wine I've ever personally purchased from the store. This time, on a trip to Bolzano. — 2 years ago
Cherry, blueberry, violet, and licorice on the nose. Black cherry, earthiness, and a mild spice note. Nice body, smooth, and easy tannins. Good finish. — 6 months ago

aroma opens up easily, good amount of fruit followed by crisp acidity. Lingering, mineral and saline finish on the end. Such an yummu juice. — 3 years ago
