Pretty much exactly what you’d guess an Italian Gamay would taste like. Plus Gros’ gotta stick together. — 4 years ago
Founded over 160 years ago, Delas Frères was acquired by Champagne Deutz in 1977. 100% Syrah from a blend of grapes 70% Cote Brune & 30% Cote Blonde, aged in French oak (30% new), aromas of red berry fruits and complex spice. On the palate raspberry and plum flavors, savory with herb pepper spice. Fine tannins, nice mouthfeel, lingering ending with fruit and mineral on ending. — 5 years ago
So I was really Luck to find this in half off. I think it had to a mistake but there were 6-7 all marked the same and asked the clerk to double check 🤷🏻♂️. Worried it might have been cooked by bad storage but took a shot anyway. Opened the bottle for night I planned to spend on the couch and plans changed quickly and I ended up drinking it with minimal decant time and out of a solo cup - long story. Despite that, was showing beautifully. Thankfully got another bottle and I’m looking forward to spending a little more time with the second one. — 6 years ago

Really tight, at first... searing acidity. Mellowed after a while. #lastglassbest — 5 years ago
2013 vintage. Primary fruit evident. Some bread notes. Stone fruits. Quite round. Acidity less noticeable. But bitter on finish. Pretty good. — 9 years ago
