OMG was this good. Surprisingly accessible in its infancy. The wine is clear and light colored red with very mild tannins. Loaded with dark berries, both the sweet and acidic side. As it got a bit more air, the 65% Zin in the blend showed through with delicious jammy-ness. The rest of this shipment go in the cellar for a least a few years.. — 5 years ago

One of the best roses I’ve had in a while (and in the perfect setting). Vibrant, textural and expressive with watermelon, cherry, hibiscus and a touch of garrigue. Consumed 11/2017. I have rated this wine before, but the bottle had a different description so I am adding this one as well. When I try to look back at my previous ratings, I can’t figure out how to see what year the vintage was. That could be why the description on the bottle is different.
Robust flavors of ripe berry fruit meld harmoniously with smoky oak and subtle hints of eucalyptus and the earth. An elegant Cassis note complements the long, noble finish. — 8 years ago

Strange wine. Very little fruit here, but a crazy amount of botanical herbs that reminds me of Chartreuse, jasmine, chamomile, slate, leafy greens, and maybe some spearmint. Not delicious but fascinating none the less. This will get someone out of their comfort zone real quick! — 5 years ago

An early drinking, more ripe style. Black cherry, black currant, magic marker, earth and a touch of underbrush on the bouquet. Black fruit and a hint of pepper on the nose well integrated tannins, full body, long finish.
