Typical Zin. Pretty big. Not as exciting as I would have wanted.

Jammy, good finish, needs to open up, give it an hour.

Deep ruby in color with a thin purplish rim.

Nice and fruity on the nose with blueberries, blackberries, black currants, licorice, vanilla, oak, cherry pie, chocolates, wildflowers, spices, herbs, black pepper, cinnamon and smoke.

Medium plus in body and elegant, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate, with currants, blackberries, sweet plums, sweet cherries, figs, raisins, licorice, vanilla, wood, tobacco, tar, leather, spices, peppercorn, coffee and chocolates.

Long finish with round, smooth tannins and tart cherries.

A great Zinfandel from Sonoma County. Well balanced with ripe fruits, and acidity that makes it interesting. It has enough complexity to enjoy it by itself or with a big juicy burger.

Good right out of the bottle, but better after an hour of opening up. A great sipping wine at a great price point. I had it just by itself, watching the Olympics.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

Top note simply says grape. Nice spice second note, may be sweet for some. No tannins, excellent for price point. One of my favorites.
