Probably should've consumed this a year or two prior at least but still nice. Mellowed quite a bit. — 6 years ago

Excellent. Tons of acid balancing out delicate earth and fruit — 8 years ago

Morey-Saint Denis Vieilles Vignes Pinot Noir 2016

Elegant in its balance of fruit/tannin/acidity but unfortunately I did not discern any particular distinction in character. Surprisingly there was a black licorice note to this 8 year old vintage. — a year ago

Vieilles Vignes Morey-Saint-Denis Pinot Noir 2015

This was rich, deep with complex layers of fruit and spice that soars out of the glass. A “Wow Wine” & one of the best $50 range Burgundies that I have ever experienced. A producer I buy at all Cru levels that shows purity of fruit & transparency. — 5 years ago

Plenty of rich, ripe red fruits. Not that tannic. Better in 5-7 years. — 7 years ago

Cuvée Thomas Vieilles Vignes Coteaux Bourguignons Pinot Noir 2016

+2hr decant.

Nose has black cherry, plum skin, raspberry, pink rose, wet earthy aromas and touch of alcohol.

Palate has rich, tart red cherry, tart blackberry, game or grass fed meat notes, light confectionery sugar on the long finish. Acidity is high, but smooth and very enjoyable, mouthwatering.

Very impressive bottle for just under $30, value delivered. Drink now or hold for 4-6 years. It's damn tasty, remaining bottles likely will not see 2021...In this household.
