Was expecting this to be DOA, however, we were surprised
Cola and burnt embers on the nose. Visually, it shows slight signs of bricking. Medium weight on the palette, with good tannins and plump acidity. Fruit has given way to cola, cinnamon and sage notes. Nice finish, which is delicately sweet.
This wine is past it's bedtime, but still enjoyable. — 10 years ago

Great nose and a lot of personality for a Pinot. — 11 years ago
Though Roll Ranch isn't my favorite from Adam, this is still a very interesting Syrah. Of all our clients at Bien Nacido and Solomon Hills he consistently performs on the highest of levels — 11 years ago
The most eastern vineyard in Santa Rita hills provides a bit more maturity in fruit due to heat exposure. Balanced, and very SRH — 11 years ago

This wine will she very well — 9 years ago
Not as classically Riesling expressive as the kick-on ranch and definitely great. This one felt light and rounded with more of a Chardonnay richness and a minerally thing rather than petrol and beeswax which is what I get from most other tatomer showings. 👍🏼 — 10 years ago

Pairs nicely with march madness. — 10 years ago
Ranch for Brooke's Bday — 11 years ago
Really big full Pinot in a detonate Cali style. Lacks some acidity and clocks in at 14.5% so not a great food friendly wine but makes a great cocktail. Cheers. — 11 years ago
Enjoyed this wine a lot. Thanks @Peter Coticchia!!! — 11 years ago
This Tempranillo from Stottle Winery is incredible! Notes of spice, blackberry, bing cherries, and tart strawberry. The grapes are sources from the Columbia Valley WA while Stottle is located in Hawks Prairie, Lacey, WA. — 11 years ago

Grabbed another bottle! Wine bears the vineyard named to honor the Red-shouldered Hawks and other birds of prey that play a vital role in sustainable farming practices. Bright yellow with aromas of tropical fruits and sweet floral scents. Aged for 14 months, 75% in new French oak and 25% in stainless. On the palate melon, pineapple and peach flavors and hints of citrus, subtle yet complex and well balanced. Lingering finish, savory, ending with mineral tones and toasty oak. Outstanding! — 9 years ago
Very surprising for only $35. Took about 30 min to open up and another 30 let out the flavors. Ruby red, sweet oak, bing cherry, cassis, vanilla, light body with similarities to Rutherford style. I could see this showing well for another 5 years and hello to the high alcohol %!
Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa Valley, one of the world’s foremost winemaking regions. The estate’s more than 300 acres of gently rolling hills and terraced vineyards benefit from the cooling fog and breezes from the nearby San Pablo Bay, climatic conditions that favor the production of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The unique architecture of Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is reminiscent of a majestic western mountain lodge, replete with soaring ceilings, seating around a cozy fireplace, an observation gallery overlooking the barrel room and production area, and a spectacular wraparound veranda that affords sweeping views of the Napa Valley and San Pablo Bay. — 9 years ago

Elegant style with near perfect balance. Pepper and dark rich blackberry flavors. Sensuous finish. Truly excellent! — 10 years ago

A full bodied Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills. Beautiful deep garnet color in the glass. Very aromatic with notes of raspberry, blackberry and spice. Great tastes of blackberry, raspberry and cinnamon backed by solid tannins and a nice acidic backbone. — 11 years ago
