Sultry deep color with light to medium body. Smooth and mild, with balanced fruit forward. Easy drinking and paired well with lamb shank. — 2 months ago
Vivid Ruby with aromas of red fruit, cacao and pronounced herb spices. On the palate bold flavors of raspberry and cherry flavors with integrated oak, herb spice tea, cinnamon, floral and cacao. Fine savory tannins, good structure, long finish ending with toasty oak, fruit and spice layers. Note Grace Benoist Ranch Pinot display a unique spiciness. Very Nice! — 3 days ago
Bright ruby red color. Bountiful aromas of red berries and dried violets. Pallet is full of strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of black tea, baking spices, earth and pepper spice. Just a bit of a “gamey” quality as well. Nice hint of oak on the clean finish. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Creamy texture. Rich and nicely rounded. Absolutely a “California-Style” Pinot Noir. Nice choice, Mark Smith. — a month ago

Voted WOTN for good reason. This has been a bucket list wine for me. Some sections of this famous vineyard were planted in 1860 but all of the vines are ridiculously old. It’s bombastic and really stands out from the crowd. Very expressive both on the nose and on the palate. Full bodied and multi layered. Creamy and rich texture. Dark berries, plums, coffee, cigar, orange peel, eucalyptus, soy, cigar box and an array of oriental spices. Probably at a peak right now, such a joy to drink. — 3 days ago
