After 2 most prominent Istrian malvasias it's time for the most famous Croatian grasevina-Krauthaker. Nice deep straw yellow with greenish rim. First impression on the nose is just wow! Intense apples and pears and underneath peach, grapefruit and some floral hints. The dominance of each fruity aspect changes with time. Easy drinking but not simple. Nice composition and balance with light salty minerality and a varietal typical bitter finish. Bites of CO2 help enhance the fresh side of this grasevina. 89 — 10 years ago
