Les Clos Sacrés Savennières Chenin Blanc 2016

Yellow straw, golden in color. So gra grant with notes of wet rocks, iron and overripe apples and pears. Home made apple sauce, lemon peel and nutmeg a little acid and overall luxurious mouth feel. — 4 years ago

@David L that’s correct. I tasted but did not buy this blend of barrels from 05-12. Napa cabs have broken into the $110+ range on release, it seems.

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2004

Seasonal feature here at Mastro Ocean Club, Dom by the glass? Yes $60 per glass & $240 per bottle!!
Great paired with seafood; stone crab claws, sea bass, caviar, and even foi Gra!!

With age, Dom Pérignon takes on a totally seductive fresh-toast-and-coffee bouquet, one of the most intriguing scents in champagne 🔱🔱🔱

My first Croatian?! Interesting to say the least, the biotryus/noble rot easily identifiable; petrol, beeswax, but without the viscosity.Kinda cool. — 7 years ago

Grasševina Welschriesling 2015

After 2 most prominent Istrian malvasias it's time for the most famous Croatian grasevina-Krauthaker. Nice deep straw yellow with greenish rim. First impression on the nose is just wow! Intense apples and pears and underneath peach, grapefruit and some floral hints. The dominance of each fruity aspect changes with time. Easy drinking but not simple. Nice composition and balance with light salty minerality and a varietal typical bitter finish. Bites of CO2 help enhance the fresh side of this grasevina. 89 — 9 years ago

HãLo Hillspring Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Great sell, sold the bottle for $500, my guest paired it with foi Gra & A5 Japanese Wagyu.

Aromas of ripe blackberries and bay leaf emerge with notes of mocha, spice and vanilla. On the palate, layers of cherry, plum and dark chocolate entwine with notes of cinnamon and spice in a long finish. Built for the long haul, the wine rewards decanting and a little time to open up.
