Founded in 1877 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, a little village the heart of the Côte d’Or by Jean Bouillot, a wine and spirits merchant. A blend of Chardonnay and Aligoté from both northern & southern Burgundy. Pale yellow with fragrant aromas of stone fruit and some biscuit notes. The palate shows apple and pear flavors, lemon zest with nice texture. Tangy long finish, vivid acidity, champagne like, pleasant, ending with fresh yeast character. Tasting Sample. — 5 months ago
Bright and deep ruby purple with quickly dissipating magenta mousse. Black cherry and tarry patent leather on the inviting nose and medium full palate. Medium acidity and medium tannins. Finish is lengthy and continues the palate and extends the tannins. Wonderful dry red sparkler suitable for brunch, dinner, or just sipping (though the tannins do call for food of some type). Drink it when you buy it. — a year ago
Nice and dry, great value — 2 months ago
Delicious and nicely balanced! Not sweet and pairs well with Italian food (I.e. Lasagna 😅) — 5 months ago

A fair amount of depth. Medium-low sweetness. Herbs on the front, rosemary. Develops into peaches and watermelon. A touch of honey as it finishes.
Overall, a definite rebuy! — a year ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Very Champagne like! Pinot Noir Blend from Burgundy! Light golden color, fine bubbles with a light creamy mousse and aromas of fresh fruit with floral scents. On the palate red berry and cherry flavors with nice underlying sweetness. Dryer than most Cremants I tasted. Long finish with lively acidity, good balance ending with fruit and slight yeast tang. Excellent value as a Champagne alternative. — 6 days ago
