100% Roussanne.
Nose...If I ever had a white that I could tell you was "oily" this is that wine. Caramelized honey, pear, guava and wet clay.
Palate is hazelnut butter, macerated pear, over-ripe apricot. F...this is an amazing bottle, I don't happen across Roussanne like this everyday, or like ever! — 6 years ago
Intense ripe red cherry from a warm vintage... enjoyable now. Mineral backbone, with decent grip and heft. A little air opens this up. SommSelect Spring 2018, solid QPR. — 6 years ago
Full palate, luscious, tropical, banana, lemon curd. Vibrant. Great value. — 7 years ago
On the nose; Marzipan, slight reduction, honey, asian pear, overripe cantaloupe, toasted oats, strange fresh jalepeño thing going on and port salut. — 3 years ago
The aromatics on this are powerful and complex. Florals, dark berries and savory components. This is generous and rewarding in youth. A beautiful example of savory/briny character accented by rich red fruit. Structured and textured. This shows great complexity, but also inviting freshness. Absolutely great. Loved this as an autumn red - darker than their others, but still so juicy. — 6 years ago
