Ruby in color with a wide brick rim.

Fruity nose with red fruits, flowers, metals, light earth and herbs.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, fresh picked cherries, vegetables, light wood, spices, coffee and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty, yet young, Barolo from the famous Cannubi plot in Barolo. Light and airy. Elegant, and feels very big.

Not very approachable yet, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Showing great potential to age nicely in the 10 years, and beyond.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 32 months. A limited Production.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

2020 vintage. Apparently, Brezza Giacomo e Figli is a certified organic producer in Barolo, known for crafting high-quality Barbera d'Alba Superiore. This was a well-structured Barbera I found best decanted for 30 minutes. Black fruit, herbs and white pepper on the nose. Medium body with notes of blackberry, tart cherry. and dried herbs and a play between moderate acidity and tannin with a exceptional medium length finish. This was perfect with pasta puttanesca and tuna and white bean salad. — 4 months ago
