Earthy notes on the nose. Slight bitterness but not as pronounced. Red apple skins. Green apple on the finish. This wine wants to be drunk with any food. Good — 8 years ago

2012, Clos Des Vignes Du Maynes, Cuvée 910, Macon-Cruzille, field blend of Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Very light with fresh red fruit balanced by spice and herbal undertones. This is one of my favorites, good as an apertif and pairs well with a variety of dishes. — 11 years ago

Bright, sour, totally lip-smacking — 8 years ago
Such an interesting wine. Can't say it's my favorite Broc wine, but it's certainly unique. Very savory, herbal, tomato watery, juicy cherry. It feels like a Rubiks Cube. Puzzling, but very fun. — 9 years ago

Sergio Licea
Cherry/raspberry compote, blood orange rind, white pepper, pea tendrils, fennel, roses, haystack, cinnamon. Snapping acidity, light/medium bodied, juicy-satin texture, minimal smooth velvet tannin presence, fruity-peppery-floral finish. Funk forward, earthy but depth in fruit and balanced aromatics. Great balance of rusticity and refinement. Tons of character. — 7 years ago
