2011- gift from a friend. Excellent structure, tannins are very mellow but alcohol is still very hot. Fruit forward, possibly oxidized fruit (port-like fruit). — 11 years ago
A delicious '89 for my friend on her 25th! Fragrant nose of dark cherries, licorice and floral notes. A full bodied, amazingly textured and elegant wine with impeccable concentration. Spice, burnt oak, black currant, cedar and earth. Such a fresh, vivacious 20 something. — 11 years ago

Supper young, darker fruit than Ovid. Needs time — 10 years ago
This beautiful 2005 cab was an anniversary gift from a great friend of mine @Jeff Savigny The vintage is the year we got married. The nose is so complex and yet so subdued, it practically blew my mind. A nose full of roses, tobacco, dark fruit and licorice with a hint of molasses and vanilla. On the palate very dry, with a faint aged acidity, yet very rich and delicious. You can spend just as much time smelling this as drinking it. This was a near perfect wine and a great anniversary present! — 11 years ago
NYE 2014 pre-dinner appetizer w my lovely wife! Amazingly youthful and balanced with no signs of aging aside from how smoothly it goes down the hatch! My 1st Opus ever from a friend in OKC. — 11 years ago

So soft and smooth — 11 years ago
Lots of fruit as expected and a sweet streak in middle. Pretty good but a certain Belgian friend of mine might call it a fruit bomb — 11 years ago
