Lovely. Very fresh, cranberries, forest, a bit of tart berry, some funky earth. Overall a great value, probably a little better in a year or two. — 9 months ago
Oh yeah. Nice one that’s almost twenty years old! All the aged Chablis tend not to smack you in the face as when young. — 3 months ago

Le Grand Contrôle - Ducasse Year 2018 — 4 years ago
2016 vintage. Excellent fill and cork. Decanted with zero sed. Light/light-medium body. Tasted 45 minutes and 1.5 hours post-decant. All about the back-end white pepper/white sage/subtle clove spice rack finish. Excellent, lingering finish tickling different parts of the palate. More of a delicate Musigny. 08.01.25. — 3 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2023 pours pale pink color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with pretty notes of strawberry, raspberry, a mixed bouquet of flowers, watermelon and stony minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and refreshing. Crush now with some good weather, some good mates and some light fare. — 5 months ago
Light body and color, but intense fruit. Raspberry, and the tannic character of the pips. Very fresh. — 8 months ago
Absolutely delicious. Ripened well. Rich for a medium bodied. — 10 months ago

Crunchy, crispy, austere and racy. Wet rocks. Needed some oysters or something else creepy crawly and briny from the sea to accompany this. — 3 months ago
