Massifiti Trebbiano di Soave 2015

See previous note: wow how this has improved, acidity smoothed out, much more lush full bodied, pronounced nectarine, guava & kiwi nose & palate mingled w/mineral. Absolutely delicious & what I hope for w/aTurbiano — 22 days ago

Very interesting, I would not have expected those tropical notes from a Trebbiano.

Napa Valley Malbec 2016

Blackberry, black cherry, oaky plum, soft tannins. That’s correct, only 20 barrels. What a shame !!! Very well done. — 11 days ago

Atwater Vineyards Chardonnay 2017

2017 very surprised excellent for a local wine!!! Technique of skins, oak and tank makes it the perfect combination. Not too oakey or unoaked just right! Hope I can find this vintage. — 15 days ago

Willamette Valley Pinot Gris

This one is one with the soil from which it comes much like a wine you might hope for on an evening in Burgundy. I was very surprised to get that impression with this CA Lodi Pinot that is in fact earthy but finely done. Hand picked grapes, basket pressed… interesting for sure! — 2 days ago
