The 13's are so much more concentrated than the ripe 12's. It's beauty in both worlds. The beauty of Chuck Henrick's wines is you can drink them young or age them. So soft. So lush. So beautiful. So elegant. Ripe and juicy blackberries, dark raspberries, raspberries, strawberries, minerality and earth so elegant it's a shame to classify as earth. You'll want to drink this now. If you do, buy 4-6 bottles and age this rest.

Love Chuck's craft. Soft, round, ripe, lush, blackberries, blueberries, dark chocolate, mocha and dry florals. @ Pebble Beach Food & Wine.

Like picking and eating blackberries on a dusty road. With overalls. Wait, no to the overalls.

Awesome Cab. Goes right up to the ripe and lush line but doesn’t cross it. Perfect balance of blue fruits and tannin. Drinking great now or can age. Top notch.

Fully opaque violet in the glass. Blackberry jam, cocoa, vanilla, and hints of tobacco leaf on the nose. Full bodied with very dense, concentrated black fruit on the palate rounded out by sweet tannins, medium + acidity, and good length. Crafted by winemaker Charles Hendricks from 100% Cabernet from Lewelling Ranch in St. Helena at the base of Spring Mountain aged 24 months in French oak. 14.4% alcohol. $85.
