Funky nose, but the palate had a strong acidic backbone with bright red fruits, including red currant, strawberry, and a touch of ripe watermelon. A great, light summer red. Definitely serve it chilled. Lovely. Thanks to @Shawn Paul for the introduction to this one! — 5 years ago

Bright and fresh. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Came off a little disjointed. Give it some as I see a bright future. The cab franc is noticeable in a good way with a dried herb note. — 6 months ago
Light ruby red color. Ripe red berry and cherry fruit on the nose with additional notes of cola and sweet baking spices. Bright red cherry fruit leads the palate with hints of tobacco, pine and those sweet baking spices. Nice mineral component on the medium-long finish. Fine grained tannins. Fresh and earthy. — 10 months ago
Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2017: Medium-bodied. Bright red fruits on the nose and strawberry, raspberry, cherry & plum on the palate. Additionally, there is a light touch of forest floor, earthiness ending with a soft dry finish. Glad to be back supporting & enjoying some local outdoor dinner spots! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
Popped and poured out of a 1.5L and this was lights out good. I love the 2005 vintage in Barbaresco and this was a beautiful example and seemed to have so much left in the tank! The fruit was still bright and full of life. Tannins are still firm. Great acid for food and paired beautifully with frutta di mare fra diavolo. Secondary characteristics are just barely creeping into the fore. Wish I had another mag to drink in 2029. — 6 years ago
Bright, clear ruby with a great nose of cassis, blackberry, violet and mint.
Beautiful length and finesse. Great impression of crushed fruit with hints of forest floor and cedar. The finish leaves a lasting impression of sweet red fruit and supported by a soft blanket of tannins. This is the proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove - just lovely — 7 years ago
Exquisite and elegant with bright berry notes. So easy yet refined. — 7 months ago

This is absolutely one of the best Rosés for the money. With good Rosés now hovering around $40, this producer is one of the top producers in Basque Country. While others have dramatically increased their Rosés prices, Ameztoi has inched their prices year to year.
Rosés have gotten so popular and their prices have skyrocketed relatively high in the last five years. So much so, I just read an article about fake Roses being produced in and exported out of France.
I selected this Rosé for Hedy’s Strawberry Gazpacho, Tarragon, Basil, Olive Oil. It married the bright fruits nicely, strawberry. The Rosé has just a bit of fizz from the carbonic tank process. The minerality & hint of herbs made for a even tug of war with the Tarragon & Basil.

Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 6 months ago
