More of the same aromatic, so we'll balanced that it almost doesn't feel as if it has more stuffing but just radiates an impression of solidity and confidence that seems to demand time in the bottle. — 3 years ago
Still youthfully dark in color with a very slight browning on rim. Upon opening still very tight and shy on nose. Decided to decant this for 3.5h prior our Christmas dinner and it started to open around 3h mark. Then it was a great Barbaresco from Treiso offering slightly darker side of Nebbiolo expression with ripe cherry, some leather and smoke, fine pepper notes. Healthy acidity and fine tannins offers solid back bone for further aging and development. I take this is 2-3 years from peak and should continue to drink several years after that. Glad I have 2 more bottles. This was a fabulous qpr back then at 23€/bottle — 4 years ago

Decanted for 1.5 hours first - a little rough at first but opened up - tart cherries, ripe fruit, very round and smooth but tannins have a strong grip. Great with steak! — 6 years ago
Fine Thursday evening wine😋 — 10 months ago
Solid Barolo. 50 euros in a restaurant. Light and not super bold like most Barolos, but pleasant. — 2 years ago
Purchased at Weimax. Medium-bodied, lightly tannic & dry. — 5 years ago
Amazing, deep Barbaresco... quite the mouthful. — 6 years ago
A 100% sangiovese grape wine this balanced is rare. A hidden gem in he heart of Tuscany this wine had a hint of tart flavor that mixed well with the beef tartare. I plan to drink the whole bottle before the first meal arrives. — 7 years ago

Had this for our anniversary! New fave. Can’t believe I ever thought I didn’t like Italian wine. Full body, tells a story. Slightly tannic. Blackberry, clay pot. Really really good value for a low splurge. — 6 months ago
