Nose is the apogee of elegant richness. Blind I might guess god’s condrieu. A touch of honey. Gorgeous.
Palate is honey. Minerals. Some other gorgeous stuff I can’t describe. Still so elegant. Rainwater of the gods.
As this aerates the internal aromatics are nectar like. Honey made from nectarine flowers.
Finish lingers like a lovers sweet kiss at dawn. — 4 years ago
A nice semi sweet wine that is not too dry — 5 years ago
Delicious and inexpensive blaufränkisch!! — 7 years ago
Delicious and quaffable this well balanced Riesling seemed to punch above its weight price-wise. — 9 years ago
Candied lemon and white floral nose. Thicker body, grapefruit, grapefruit pit & skin, lime and a chalky style minerality. — 11 years ago
Very low alcohol at 11.0%. Plenty of residual sweetness. Grapefruit, lemon, and heavy pear. Pairs nicely with curry or hearty seafood with citrus. — 12 years ago

Great acid and sweetness level; lacking complexity but definitely solid — 7 years ago
Stone...wet concrete nose, with a pineapple topic fruitness and a lemon/lime ...key lime pie tartness. — 8 years ago
Love it - unfolds in the mouth. Sweet and dry at the same time. Magic? — 9 years ago
One of the best producers in the Mosel area for sure. This is to young to drink now but I tasted this at the winery. They served me the wine at 10°. The lady said: sorry that he is so cold. Wait a few minutes. But that development was so interesting! I thanked her for serving it this way! ☺️ — 9 years ago
Really nice acid and pretty aromatics. Lots if honey, peach, apricots and cream. Enough acidity to keep it clean. — 11 years ago
Pop and pour. Notes from 1 hr open, paired with vegan mapo tofu. On the nose: soft underripe peach, green apple, loads of wet stone, pollen and soft citrus blossom. On the palate: fantastic acidity, green apple, soft honey, peach, just a hint of sweetness. Ok density at the moment...still a bit shrill and needs more time. Nevertheless, a good pairing. — 5 years ago
Utvecklad. Stenfrukt, gummi, mogen citron, mineralkristaller, honung, krutrök. — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2021 Graacher Domprobst Spätlese (White Capsule) pours a day bright, light straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of tropical fruit: star fruit, passion fruit, lemons, petrol, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with tongue smacking acid and minerals. A cracking pairing with lamb massaman, larb and papaya salad. Drink now with some patience but better after 2026 and through 2041. Beautiful stuff. — 2 years ago
