A heavy amount of petroleum on the nose, but a nice honeyed sweet floral finish. Hooray to Beijing wine bar! — a year ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2021 Graacher Domprobst Spätlese (White Capsule) pours a day bright, light straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of tropical fruit: star fruit, passion fruit, lemons, petrol, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with tongue smacking acid and minerals. A cracking pairing with lamb massaman, larb and papaya salad. Drink now with some patience but better after 2026 and through 2041. Beautiful stuff. — a year ago
At a beautiful spot. Nice golden color, fragrant minerals laced nose and tingling texture into long finish. Went nicely with variety of Indian dishes from Rasa for Leila’s one day early dinner with Cindy David. — 3 years ago
A nice semi sweet wine that is not too dry — 4 years ago
GK. Absolutely fantastic. I love the combo of restraint and purity on the no star Molitor GK’s. Palate is just brilliant. Cut from a crystal it’s so pure with just the right amount of luscious sweetness and spice. Nose is slatey with dashes is stunningly pure fruit like apricot and green melon. Palate is super juicy and has great almost tannic grip and then that tannin explodes on the very long finish. Stunning. — 9 months ago
White Cap. Glorious nose of refined slate, lanolin, fresh herbs, some hints of apricot and green apple. So subtle, almost like an elegant Chablis crossed with Mosel. I am sure it will open more with air but the foundation is there for dynamite aromatics. Some sweet ginger now. Lime blossom. The palate is just awesome. Rich. chewy and dense but light as a feather and so elegant. Long and focused with sweet lime fruit and unreal purity. This is so close to a 9.7. Overnight the aromas are so stunning and the palate even more elegant but it stayed at 9.6. Actually got to a 9.7 as the finish just became transcendent and forever. — a year ago
Killer confectionary nose of cotton candy, crushed slate, green apple but it’s overwhelmingly confectionary and so so aromatic. Wow. So airy and clean. Breezy like Sunday morning. Juicy and clean with vibrant acidity and lovely lime infused slatiness. Salty, piquant finish and wonderful length. Really elegant and incisive. Love this. — 2 years ago
Pop and pour. Notes from 1 hr open, paired with vegan mapo tofu. On the nose: soft underripe peach, green apple, loads of wet stone, pollen and soft citrus blossom. On the palate: fantastic acidity, green apple, soft honey, peach, just a hint of sweetness. Ok density at the moment...still a bit shrill and needs more time. Nevertheless, a good pairing. — 4 years ago
Utvecklad. Stenfrukt, gummi, mogen citron, mineralkristaller, honung, krutrök. — 5 years ago
Amazing wine. Aroma is honeydew, apple, pear, apple blossom, honeysuckle, orange flower water, and even a hint of minerality in there. Palate has the same notes in the aroma, wine is a bit sweeter than I usually go for but not unbalanced with the acidity. Took down two bottles of it and could do more. Will drink again — 10 months ago
Lower acid this vintage; mint; fruit moving to background. — a year ago

I’ve found some of the previous Molitor bottles to have a bit of an off note but nothing like that here. Nice spatlese. Was hoping for a smidge more acid but nice. — 8 months ago
