Gift from BJ - really enjoyed this bottle — 5 years ago
Not a rosé for the faint of heart. Saignée and 100% Grand Cru Pinot Noir this has plenty of red fruit and minerality. Robust and captivating with food. — 7 years ago
Light and some lemon grass, pear, solid acid, smells sweet and beautiful, good chalk and olive — 7 years ago

Grapes from hell. Off-dry, acid dab, rock-lick, gorgeous texture. This sh1t is on point! The struggle for life as depicted by a painter - makes you weep with incredulousness. Sugar-frosted bandaids and plantain-skin visions on the second day, if you can get there. Royal leanings. Sun-stroked skin. Impeccable scale. Dig it. — 5 years ago
New Rose from Max Geitlinger. Fresh nose of watermelon, cherry, citrus skin, spice, so many layers, flowers, so so good. Wow. Palate is so elegant, juicy and sweet. Amazing purity and freshness. Incredible vivid fruit and so drinkable and delicious. Amazing detail to the palate and balance. Really great. Smells like the Spätburgunder bottling diffused. — 5 years ago
Red and dark fruits with a modest bite of astringency that produces a well-balanced wine. Even better than 6-12 months ago. Delicious. — 8 years ago
Dry, good acidity which is a little unusual for a Riesling. Good weight, bright color, this wine is delicious! — 4 years ago
Light flavor, lactic qualities, herbaceous and vegetal front with under ripe and grippy fruit in the finish, easy drinking, little bit of funk, some minerality - delicious. — 5 years ago
Look at that Fucking color. Yes that is what Pinot is supposed to look like. Gorgeous. Unreal nose. Sour cherries, dry leaves, pinpoint precision. Takes 45 minutes to an hour before the symphony begins. But the unfurling and aromatic nuances are just gorgeous. The fruit is almost non existent on the nose the first 15-30 minutes then BAM! Palate is just amazing. Red Riesling on another level. This showing reminds me of Möbitz. It’s so ethereal and lacey. Stunning. Amazing delicate and refined red cherry fruit. More mid to early season cherries and gloriously juicy and perfectly ripe. This is so fine. Velvety and delicate Lacey tannins weave in and out of the finish. Stunning almost silly freshness. Stellar. — 6 years ago
Vending Tardive. One can make a case that in Alsace, where it is considered a Grand Cru-eligible grape, muscat gets more respect than in any other wine region. In this wine you can certainly taste why it deserves grand Cru status - perfect balance, great depth, subtle flavors and a level of sweetness that supports rather than overwhelms the fruit. Lovely rosé petal and honey notes With a refined Thai or Indian curry this will be exception, and with seared foie Gras? Off the chart. It deserves another couple of years in bottle but it will be hard to wait that long — 8 years ago
