Extremely concentrated and dense so if you're in the camp of "bigger is better" (well, then you're wrong ;-), this will be right up your alley.

What a sublime and elegant wine. I'd be turned off by the waiting list but now that I have my hands on a bottle...holy heck it is just so refined. Not a jam-monster, not too light...it is the Goldilocks of Zin. Blog review coming shortly but know getting on the list is good if you like an aristocratic Zin. Eternal finish that tattoos itself on your tongue and palate. Medium to full-bodied, with startling freshness and grip for a quarter-centurion. La Tache 1990 will enthrall for another 30 to 50 years.

This 2008 was cellared for almost five years after purchased in 2012. Consumed Nov 2015, the best way to describe this delight is that "it melts in your mouth".
