Tiny hint of reduction but beyond that it is super floral and with loads of cherry fruit. Iron, very mineral. Elemental stuff. Dusty and very very refined. Hit of licorice. Really alluring nose. Just stunning. These wines give nothing in their youth and then the blossom. Stunningly fresh and vibrant with still some tannic grip but wonderful balance and depth. Saps your palate and tales of over. This is truly on its way to being great. It’s long and saline and has floral echoes on the finish. Profound. But with age, 3-6 more years, this will be lights out. — 6 years ago
Hit the spot on a chilly deep-dish pizza Monday. Clean elemental soil, freshly watered. — 6 years ago
The 2015 vintage is much like previous ones I’ve tasted. It has such vivacity—so fresh and lively. For me this wine starts with a sense of the sea —full of minerals and salinity which are so natural and refreshing like some deep essence of our bodies that it brings into presence. To this it adds something of the land and the fruits of human cultivation. These are the aromas of alpine flowers and the scent of lemon. Together they create a pleasure born of our ancient sea heritage and our present dwelling place on the land. They bring together in one sip both heaven and earth. Too much for a simple Bourgogne? No, this elemental nature is its magic. — 7 years ago
Fantastic. Nose is elemental at this point with cherries, violets, perfume, and minerals, but still closed. Palate is packed with young Nebbiolo greatness. Red-fruited concentration, acidity, prickly tannins. No doubt this is a 30 year wine. 9.2++ — 5 years ago

Okay. First of all, this is Gap’s Crown Vineyard 2017 pinot noir in SONOMA baby! Kerith is absolutely amazing. She has developed and crafted a wine so beautiful, its worthy to be the house wine for the Royal Palace and the Queen of England! Nevertheless, it is definitely my house Pinot Noir as well as the best Pinot Noir you will ever have. Before I discovered Bruliam wines, I thought the best pinots came from Oregon. Boy was I wrong! Kerith.... wow. Excellent job. And that’s really all I have to say if you like Pinot Noir, you’re going to love Bruliam- wine is elemental! Just do it! — 5 years ago
Gothic and elemental, for rumination. Smells of lichen and rainfall. — 6 years ago
Young but boisterous. Big confectionary nose of citrusy, confectionary sugar, melon, huge mineral and a deep elemental feel. Super terrific nose. Palate is razors and wonderful sappy fruit with that razor acid with brilliant juiciness and purity. Terrific depth. So long and has structure to age. Joyous. — 7 years ago
